We are entrepreneurs. Our firm was founded by entrepreneurs and built to serve entrepreneurs. Our vision is to build a platform for entrepreneurial lawyers to build the type of future that they envision for themselves—to build the type of career that they desire; to disrupt the traditional law firm partnership structure and reinvent the client experience with client-centered lawyering by empowering our lawyers to find their “Ikagai.”
Ikagai is a Japanese concept that combines the terms iki, meaning “alive” or “life,” and gai, meaning “benefit” or “worth.” When combined, these terms mean that which gives your life worth, meaning, or purpose. Our firm embodies the principle of Ikagai by empowering our lawyers to have the autonomy to do the type of work that they love and the area of law that they are good at to fulfill what our clients need and what our clients will pay for.
We believe that by empowering our team to fulfill their own “Ikagai,” our firm will ultimately fulfill its ultimate mission: We thrive to provide world-class value-added legal services to empower innovators and investors, founders, financers, and visionaries to fulfill their visions and improve the lives of all of humanity by spurring social change, propelling economic growth, and shaping a better future for us all.
